De La Rosa injured in start
The Colorado Rockies are reporting on their website that left-handed pitcher Jorge De La Rosa (1999) was removed in the third inning of today’s game with the Arizona Diamondbacks with left elbow soreness.
De La Rosa was coming off his first complete game in his last start, a 2-1 loss at Philadelphia. We’ll keep you updated as soon as the Rockies release more information.
In this game, the Rockies have erupted offensively – namely, CarGo. Former Osprey outfielder Carlos Gonzalez (2003) hit two massive home runs, and Colorado rolls to a 12-4 win over the D-backs. CarGo finishes with four RBIs and three runs scored in the game.
